After a year of research and preparations the open_green structure is ready to receive public and participants!

In this urban garden project, we want to blend the natural and the digital world into one ecosystem. The rooftop garden consists of natural material, recycled waste and electronic components. Over time we want to investigate whether the fusion of natural and artificial matter produces new organisms, new environments, new natures. Does technology animate nature and space, and do users and programs animate natural matter?

By introducing natural processes when making art with technology, we invite you to discover the connections between nature, culture and the digital. To play with the natural and artifical elements that are combined into one media-ecological system.

Saturday, may 16th, you are invited to come over for a talk, a snack and a drink.
